The Super Bowl MVP was process management

While Aaron Rodgers was the Super Bowl MVP on paper, we submit that, once again this year, the  team with the best process management won the Super Bowl. The Green Bay Packers were the least person-dependent team in the league … including on Super Bowl Sunday.

While Aaron Rodgers is very talented, what sets the 2010/2011 Packers apart was their ability not to be person dependent in any position on the field. They lost many starters during the season and still made it to the Super Bowl. They lost two more great players during the Game and still managed to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers who, ostensibly, had more Super Bowl experience on their team.

Make sure you have great people and then make sure you are not person-dependent with your processes.

Our Super Bowl Ad commentary starts tomorrow.
