I was driving in downtown Palo Alto last week early in the morning and saw the line of people outside the Apple Store going around the block looking to get an iPhone 4. Classic behavior of early adopters. Even though Apple sold a LOT of iPhones to these people and their peers around the country, they are still just a small minority of potential users … for a reason. They will put up with a phone that requires that you know how to hold it so it does not drop your call. Odd feature for a phone to have, but then early adopters don’t worry so much about utility as much as being cool.
