Two weeks early, but it’s starting

The NY Times, as reprinted in the San Jose Mercury News, reported today (for the first time) that there are economists who believe the recession may end early in 2009. If you read the entire article they note that many economists still believe the recession will continue through almost all of 2009 and maybe into 2010. These facts have not changed. So what did?

The headline of the article was about the end coming sooner rather than later. As I have been suggesting, once January 21st comes around the media tilt will move towards recovery. Well, guess I was wrong. It is happening a bit sooner.
